Qualche
giorno fa abbiamo scritto una mail ad una nostra cara amica, Vered,
che si occupa di diritti umani e letteratura e che vive a Tel Aviv.
Le abbiamo chiesto come stessero lei e la sua famiglia e mi ha
risposto che, in questo periodo, si trovano in Europa. Ma ci ha anche
scritto una sua riflessione che vogliamo condividere con voi.

permesso di pubblicare queste parole:
“Many
people are against the war.
We initiative a lot of activities for peace. A huge demonstration that took place in Tel Aviv on the 12th (I was part of its promotion) a bus for peace, a discussion at the knesset about 1325 resolution with women against the war. We write posts against the war and recizem and circulate it via facebook. We put more women in the news to balance the military man talking about sticks. And this campaign that ill add one of my colleagues pic. It says stop in hebrew and arabic. We also circulate posts from Gaza because the people in Israel dont hear anything. The news is only about israel. You dont know how many innocent people in Gaza were killed. But there is a special info graphic for it that people update every day.
Of
course many people act very violent toward peace initiative.
People leave hatred messages to us wishing our death. In Tel Aviv
right wing people enter a pub in Tel Aviv and hit people they
suspected to be left wing.
I
think im more concern from the future. From what Israel become.
The hate and rascizem. The Violent and disrespect for humans. I
think its the first time that I feel that I am afraid to live in
Israel because of what we become and not the out side security
situation”.
